May Britt Hansen is project manager for the large food investment in Trondheim and Trøndelag. Trondheim and Trøndelag received the recognition European Region of Gastronomy for 2022, and May Britt Hansen will lead the work of putting Trondheim and Trøndelag on the food map.
May Britt has previously been director of tourism in both Visit Trondheim and Trøndelag Reiseliv and held a number of leading positions within the hotel and restaurant industry in Trøndelag. Hansen has a degree in tourism with a bachelor’s degree from Finnmark University College.
