Ving confirms participation at TravelXpo, taking place March 20–22 at NOVA Spektrum. Together, the parties are working on an on-site “cheaper than the internet» guarantee, for trips with flash deals and travel auctions, which will help enhance the visitor experience with inspiration, expert advice, and exclusive fair offers.
Joining TravelXpo for the first time in over 25 years
For the first time in more than 25 years, Ving will participate in Norway’s largest travel arena, TravelXpo, held at NOVA Spektrum March 20–22, 2026. This is a clear signal that the tour operator is investing in the Norwegian meeting place for travel-loving consumers.
“We’re doing this because we believe in the new concept, and because Norway needs a venue where travel enthusiasts can find inspiration, get good advice, and, not least, secure great deals,” says Ving’s CEO Marie-Anne Zachrisson.
Join as an exhibitor – TravelXpo modernizes the meeting place
Under the slogan “a taste of the world,” TravelXpo will be elevated into a vibrant travel festival combining inspiration, experiences, and commerce. Alongside Norway’s largest outdoor festival, Camp Villmark – which annually attracts around 25,000 visitors – NOVA Spektrum will be filled March 20–22, 2026 with destinations, culture, food, and experiences, aiming to let visitors taste, see, and hear a bit of the world while planning their next trip or adventure.
Cheaper than the internet guarantee
Together with TravelXpo, Ving introduces the concept of a “cheaper than the internet guarantee” for trips offered to visitors. In addition, they promise to create a taste of the world – with experiences that deliver both a great atmosphere and high inspiration.
Project manager and concept developer Cecilie Svabø is very pleased that Ving is joining the initiative: “We understand the need for a lively and inspiring meeting place for consumers of travel and experiences, and we can’t achieve that alone as organizers. We depend on the industry joining us in this effort – something Ving will truly contribute to next year,” says Svabø enthusiastically.
Relevant industry conference for tourism, plus press event for the antor network
Before the doors open to the public part of TravelXpo, the day at NOVA Spektrum will start with a relevant industry conference for tourism on Friday, March 20. Here, the most current topics for the travel industry will be on the agenda. The professional day begins with an informal sofa chat with the dynamic duo Ronny Brede Aase and Tuva Fellmann, who recently started a hotel in Greece and created a TV series about the project for NRK.
At the same time, Antor will hold its annual press event in the neighboring hall. The press event is a meeting place for the travel industry and the media, aiming to strengthen visibility for member countries and inspire new travel experiences. The event is coordinated with TravelXpo to ensure broad media coverage and give participants the opportunity to share news, presentations, and ideas in a professional forum.
