Industry players join forces to elevate TravelXpo 2026 and the future of tourism

TravelXpo aims to strengthen its position and regain ground as Norway’s largest travel event. Through a strong advisory board, key players are coming together to help shape a solid professional program and mobilize the entire industry to unite behind TravelXpo – both in 2026 and in the years to come.

The Advisory board consists of:

  • Innovation Norway Reiseliv, represented by Audun Pettersen. Innovation Norway is a key driver for Norwegian tourism, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and international marketing of Norway as a destination.
  • VIRKE Reiseliv, represented by Geir Vik. Virke represents a wide range of Norwegian travel businesses and works for favorable conditions and growth in the industry.
  • Norsk reiseliv, represented by Per Arne Tuftin. An important industry organization promoting collaboration and political influence to strengthen Norwegian tourism.
  • Scenorama, represented by Mari-Anne Robberstad. Experts in events and experiences, focusing on creating engaging meeting places.
  • ANTOR Norway, represented by Arne Sundt-Bjerck. The network for international tourist offices in Norway, providing valuable insight into how Norway is perceived globally.
  • HANEN, represented by Bernt Bucher-Johannessen. A nationwide business organization for companies in rural tourism and farm-based food experiences in Norway.
  • NOVA Spektrum, represented by Silje Låveg and Cecilie Svabø

Relevant topics for the industry conference
The advisory board has a clear mandate: to develop a strong and relevant program for TravelXpo’s industry conference on Friday, March 20, 2026. The topics discussed will be both timely and challenging for today’s tourism sector.

The conference is not just about politics and framework conditions. Participants will gain fresh trends, analyses, and insights from both domestic and international sources – and an honest look at how Norway measures up as a destination in 2026.

Celebrity guests at the conference
The program is still being developed, but it is already confirmed that the popular NRK profiles and married couple Ronny Brede Aase and Tuva Fellman will share their experiences from starting a hotel in Greece – an adventure that will become an NRK series early next year. A conversation about dreams, challenges, and realities of investing in tourism.

Save the date: march 20–22, 2026
TravelXpo takes the pulse of the future of tourism – with professional depth, engaging debates, and experiences that inspire.
