Are you tempted by a night in a glass igloo and cuddling moments with alpacas? You can hear more about this opportunity at Experience Aunas stand during TravelXpo.

As the winner of TravelXpo’s entrepreneurial competition, Experience Auna has been given the opportunity to participate in this year’s fair.
– For us as a relatively newly established travel company, this is a great opportunity. After a start-up phase with larger investments, it can take some time before you build up enough capital to spend on marketing, such as trade fairs, says Hege O. Kalland at Experience Auna.
The company has also received a grant from Innovation Norway to realize its concept, and is looking forward to showing off to the visitors at the fair.

Almost like sleeping outside
– At Experience Auna, we offer our guests a large dose of hospitality. We want to share the beautiful property we are lucky enough to own so that others can have a memorable experience and a sense of peace. You don’t need to travel abroad for the good experiences, says Kalland.
The experiences are based on the simple nature has to offer, and they have therefore chosen to set up glass igloos. It gives the feeling of sleeping outside, but you are completely protected from the elements.
– We also offer mountain tours and sea activities, such as fishing, boat hire, kayaking and SUP. From 2023, there will also be an offer for alpaca meetings and walks as well as short-distance food at the barn, she says.

Couples or friends trip
The unique thing about Experience Auna is the property. It is idyllically located in one of Trøndelag’s archipelagos and has a large shoreline and two smaller mountains.
– The property is located five kilometers away from a busy road, and that means no disturbances either from cars or industry. Otherwise, it is probably the combination of glamping and alpacas that attracts people. You can sleep luxuriously in nature and meet the exotic animals, she says.
The offer is suitable for young and old, but the main target group is couples and friends aged 20-60.
– Igloo accommodation is probably most comfortable without small children, she concludes.
